My son's road to recovery

My 5 year old son was diagnosed with severe autism at the young age of 14 months. Up until then he was a normal healthy developing baby. He was eating as expected, but was becoming more and more distant from everybody. More moody, unhappy and increasingly harder to live with. By age 2 his digestive system completely shut down to the point where he ate no solids at all. Screaming every time he attempted to eat anything, scraping at his tongue as if in pain and throwing himself on the floor. We became increasingly concerned as no one had any answers for us and we were advised to tube feed him and be done with it he cannot be helped. Then we met the wonderful team from Secrenase. We had been to hell and back. My son is now a very healthy happy young boy who is a complete joy to be around. Secrenase found nasty bugs living in his bowel which were causing the pain upon eating for all those years. We are finally on the road to recovery never to return to the living nightmare our family endured for 4 years. Zachary is now improving in all areas of his development and although still non-verbal his speech therapist can see great things starting to happen, toilet training is coming along, he is starting to eat solids again and sleeps through the nights instead of waking at midnight on a high and draging me out of bed by my hair. We can now take our son out to certain social places istead of being prisoners in our home. We started with a gluten and dairy free diet and secretin spray, supplementation and test through the secrenase team. We owe them so much and cannot thank them enough for all the support and encouragement they have given us. We just wanted to let parents who are going through the nightmare now to realise that it is a long road but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Take it from us we have been there. And for the skeptics out there don't rubbish anything until you have been walking in my shoes and been through the same hell. You listen to advise from professionals and so forth, but trust your maternal instinct and do what is best for your child. If I hadn't god only knows where we would be now and I am sure when my son speaks he is going to thank his mum and the secrenase team for believing in him!!!!
